I specialize in drawing faces that capture the beauty of a person's spirit and personality, but I can draw full portraits as well. I can also feature a number of people in the same portrait, either by using a single photo or by combining different photos. The details of faces and what it is on them that expresses a person's personality and emotions always fascinated me. The twinkle of an eye, an old woman's laugh wrinkles, a child's dimpled cheeks, the tenderness of a mother's face-- every face holds its own unique beauty and story, and these things are expressed in the minutest details. A subtle stroke of a pencil, the addition of a line here, a tiny patch of light there--these subtle adjustments can do wonders in changing a piece of art to the expression of the essence and personality of a special person. Above any method or fine technique, I aim to bring out these things when I draw-- this is what is most important to me.
